This policy explains how Forman Technologies Ltd (company number 17351035) uses cookies and similar storage technologies on forman.club and the Forman app at forman.live. It should be read alongside our Privacy Notice at /privacy/.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.
2. Our approach to consent
We group cookies into three categories: strictly necessary, analytics, and marketing. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the service cannot work without them. Analytics and marketing technologies only run if you give consent through our cookie banner, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. You can change your choice at any time.
Today, the forman.club marketing site stores only your local cookie-consent preference and does not load any third-party analytics or marketing cookies until you opt in.
3. Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| forman_consent | Forman (this site) | Remembers your cookie-consent choice | Strictly necessary | Up to 12 months |
| Session / authentication | Forman (app) | Keeps you securely signed in to the app | Strictly necessary | Session / up to 30 days |
| Security tokens | Forman (app) | Protects forms and requests against abuse (e.g. CSRF) | Strictly necessary | Session |
4. Analytics and marketing
If we enable analytics or marketing tools in future, they will only run with your consent, and this policy will be updated to list each cookie, its provider, purpose and duration before it is used. We will not load them based on assumed consent.
5. Managing cookies
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the cookie settings on our site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though strictly necessary cookies are needed for the service to function, so blocking them may stop parts of Forman working.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed. Questions? Contact support@forman.live.
